YOUR ORDER INFORMATION

Updated 1 October 2026
We use your details to prepare and deliver your cards, verify payment and help with your order. Payment details are handled by Stripe. Your order does not sign you up for marketing.
For access or corrections, email support@tapfiive.com with your order reference.
What we collect
We collect the business name and address, delivery address, contact name, email and package quantity. Business type, phone and order notes are optional. We use the business name and address to locate the public Google listing for tag programming; you do not need to supply a review link. Provide only information needed to fulfil your order. Never enter passwords, full card details or sensitive information in the form.
Analytics and advertising
Tap5 may use technologies such as the Meta Pixel to understand website activity, measure advertising performance and record conversions such as a verified purchase. These tools receive browser/page information and event details: product views, checkout opened, validated steps, payment handoff, and the value and quantity of a verified live purchase. Test orders are excluded from Purchase events. Traffic source is recorded as a broad category such as Google, Facebook or direct; our event parameters do not include raw query strings or referrers. Tap5 does not send your name, email, phone number, address, business contact details or Google review destination to Meta through these events.
The Meta Pixel may set its own cookies and process browser identifiers under Meta’s policies. Automatic form-data collection is disabled. A local purchase marker helps avoid sending the same verified order event again; it contains the order reference, not contact information. Meta privacy information (opens a new tab).
Aggregate site measurement
We count free QR tool visits, successful QR creation, download requests and clicks from the tool toward a Tap5 card, as well as product views, checkout entries, completed checkout steps and payment handoffs, in daily totals. These counters store only the event, date, package quantity (or one for a tool action) and broad traffic source such as search, social or local outreach. They do not store contact details, Google review links, business names, logos, sign wording, raw page queries, referrers or visitor identifiers. Reloads and blocked measurement can affect these counts; verified paid orders are recorded separately and are not linked to individual tool visitors. Daily aggregate counts are retained for up to 90 days. The broad traffic-source category is kept in this browser tab so it remains consistent as you move to checkout. This measurement respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control where the browser exposes them.
Free QR code generator
Your Google review link, business name, sign wording and optional logo are processed in your browser to create downloadable files. They are not uploaded to Tap5, stored in our order database or sent in analytics events. Closing or reloading the tool clears its inputs. The sharing buttons share the public tool page, without your business details. Opening a test link takes you to Google; choosing WhatsApp or email uses that service’s sharing flow. Normal website analytics described above may still record a page visit.
Your local checkout draft
Form details are saved in this browser tab’s session storage so you can go back, refresh or return from Stripe without starting again. Drafts are ignored after 24 hours. A previous persistent browser draft is migrated to the current tab when storage permits. If storage is unavailable, the form still works, but your details may not survive leaving the page.
Use your own device and close the tab after finishing. Local draft data is not used for marketing.
Order storage and security
When secure payment is enabled and you continue, a pending order is saved in the hosted database before Stripe opens. Order and payment references, saved pricing and notification status support payment verification, fulfilment and troubleshooting. Public order lookups are not provided. Secure retry tokens are stored only as hashes on the server. The order inbox requires authenticated owner access.
Request-limit counters use hashed identifiers, not stored raw IP addresses, to reduce repeated checkout and notification attempts. Hosting providers process information required to operate the site.
Stripe and email delivery
Stripe hosts the payment page and processes payment information; Tap5 does not receive full card details. After verified payment, Resend processes the customer confirmation and private owner notification. Order details are not automatically added to marketing lists.
