TAP5 GUIDE
A review QR code puts your Google link where customers can use it: on a counter sign, menu, receipt or screen. Here is how to make one and check the finished result.
Sign in to your Google Business Profile, select Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and copy the link for the correct location. Some profiles label this Ask for reviews.
Open Tap5’s free Google Review QR Code Generator, paste the link and select Generate free QR code. You do not need to create an account or provide an email address.
Download PNG for everyday uses such as menus, digital screens or adding a code to an existing design. The tool offers 512, 1024 and 2048 pixel images. Download SVG when you want to resize the QR without reducing its sharpness.
For a ready-to-print sign, add an optional business name and logo, choose A4 or A5, and download the PDF. The small footer credits the free Tap5 tool; the QR itself opens the Google link you supplied.
The generator keeps the QR dark on white and leaves clear white space around it. Put your logo above the code rather than over it. Avoid cutting off the white border when placing the code in another design.
Print the sign at actual size. Use a clean, flat surface with enough light, and keep the code free from reflections, folds, damage and clutter. Test the final print from a comfortable phone distance.
Use the Test Google link button and then scan your downloaded or printed QR with your phone camera. Confirm that it opens the correct business and location.
If it opens the general Maps listing instead of a review form, return to your Business Profile and copy the link from Get more reviews. Google may ask customers to sign in to leave a review.
For cafés, try beside the till or collection point after service. For restaurants, use the payment or takeaway collection point. For barbers and salons, try the reception counter after an appointment. Keep the invitation short and leave customers free to decline.
A QR sign can sit alongside a Tap5 NFC card. Customers who prefer scanning can use the sign; customers with a compatible NFC phone can tap the card and open its notification. Both methods help customers reach the review page.
